Standard Tools

The following table lists standard viewing tools. Listed mouse buttons are the default assignment, as mouse buttons may be configured via menu and toolbar customization.

Tool

Description

Undo

Unexecutes one command in the command history.

Redo

Executes one command in the command history.

Cine

Shows the cine component, which is used to automatically stack through the selected display set.

Stack

Stacks through the images available in the image box by dragging up and down (Mouse Tool; Left Button).

Window/Level

Adjusts the window width and centre (or brightness and contrast) of the image by dragging up and down (centre) and left and right (width) (Mouse Tool; Right Button, Middle Button).

Adjust Opacity

Adjusts the opacity of the PET layer of a fusion image by dragging left and right or, alternatively, up and down (Mouse Tool; Right Button).

Pan

Pans around the image by dragging on the image (Mouse Tool; Left Button).

Zoom

Adjusts the zoom of the image by dragging up and down (Mouse Tool; Right Button).

Magnifying Glass

Magnifies the area of the image under the mouse in a separate window (Mouse Tool; Left Button).

Probe

Probes the pixel under your cursor, showing pixel coordinates and value (Mouse Tool; Left Button).

Flip Vertical

Flips the currently selected display set across the X axis.

Flip Horizontal

Flips the currently selected display set across the Y axis.

Rotate

Counterclockwise 90°

Rotates the currently selected display set 90º counterclockwise.

Rotate Clockwise 90°

Rotates the currently selected display set 90º clockwise.

Invert

Inverts the currently selected display set (i.e. black white, white black).

Show/Hide Overlays

Allows four overlays to be individually toggled: Text Layer, DICOM Overlays, Image Scale, Display Shutters.

Reset

Resets the geometric parameters (i.e., zoom, pan, flip, rotation) on the currently selected display set.
