Spatial Locator

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The Spatial Locator tool allows you to locate a point in space across all image planes. For example, when you point to a spot on an axial image, the tool will show you where that point is in the associated coronal and sagittal image stacks. To use the Spatial Locator:

1.Load a study that has series from multiple planes.
2.Click on the Spatial Locator button on the toolbar. The Spatial Locator is a mouse tool mapped to the right mouse button.
3.Right click on the point of interest, then hold. The same point in space will be marked by a cross hair in the other series. Dragging the mouse will update the location instantly.
4.Release the mouse button to remove the cross hairs.
