Image Viewer > Working with Studies

Opening studies is straightforward:

1.	In the DICOM Explorer, on the study browser, select the study or studies you wish to open. You can Ctrl-Click to select multiple (individual) studies, or Shift-Click to select a range.

2.	Click Open on the study browser toolbar, or right-click and select Open. If opening a single study, double-clicking on it will also work.

3.	Studies can also be opened over the network if your PACS Server is a ClearCanvas ImageServer with streaming capabilities.

Once the selected studies have been opened for viewing, the Workstation will try to automatically load prior studies for the same patient(s).
