Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Most of the basic image review tools should be self-explanatory and fairly intuitive to use.

Regular tools are those tools that, when pressed, immediately operate on the selected display set. Rotate, Flip or Invert are examples of such tools. To use regular tools, simply:

1.Click on the display set of interest to select it.
2.Click on the desired toolbar button to apply the operation.

Mouse tools are tools whose functions are mapped to a particular mouse button. Window/Level, Zoom, Pan are examples of such tools. The button to which the function is assigned is indicated in the tooltip of the toolbar button. To use mouse tools, simply.

1.Click on the desired toolbar button.
2.Click on the display set of interest and use the tool as described briefly in the table below.

Note that because there are now so many items on the toolbar, you can change the toolbar to wrap around horizontally so all the items on the toolbar are visible. By default, the toolbar only ever shows one row of buttons with the rest residing in a "spillover". Alternatively, you can also use menu and toolbar customization to hide tools which are less frequently used.

1 The mouse buttons and shortcuts listed are only the factory default assignments. You may configure the actual mouse buttons and shortcuts via menu and toolbar customization.
